Inorganic high-temperature resistant and corrosion-resistant coating 1566

# INORGANIC HIGH TEMPERATURE CORROSION PREVENTION COATING RAINBOW PAINTS ## Product Code No.1566 ## Type Two-component anti-corrosion coating formulated with moisture-cured inorganic polysiloxane copolymer, matched with heat-resistant and anti-corrosion pigments; fully cures at ambient temperature without heating. ## Application Heat-resistant anti-corrosion finish for metal structures such as steel pipes, steam pipes, heat oil pipes, heat preservation pipes and plant equipment. ## Properties 1. Excellent heat resistance & cold resistance: Resists continuous 650°C, intermittent -196°C 2. Hard dry within 8 hours at ambient temperature, fully cures at room temperature 3. Can be sprayed on high-temperature steel, galvanized steel and stainless steel substrates up to 220°C 4. Outstanding anti-rust performance on repeatedly heated metal substrates 5. Strong adhesion and superior rust prevention 6. Provides reliable protection under cyclic hot/wet and cold-heat alternating environments, suitable for CUI (Corrosion Under Insulation) service conditions ## Specification Data - Color: Iron Gray, Silver Gray, Red Brown - Specific Gravity: ≥1.4 Kg/L (mixed paint) - Viscosity: ≥70 KU (25°C) - Drying Time - Tack-free: Within 30 mins (25°C) - Hard dry: Within 4 hours (25°C) - Pot Life: 24 hours - Recoating Interval (minimum, based on substrate temperature) - 25°C substrate: 4 hours - 50~80°C substrate: 1 hour - 81~120°C substrate: 0.5 hour - 120~220°C substrate: 10 mins No maximum recoating interval limit - Film Thickness: Wet film 196~294 μm, Dry film 100~150 μm - Recommended Total Dry Film Thickness: 300 μm (3 coats × 100 μm dry film each) - Theoretical Coverage: 19.3~12.9 ㎡/Gal, 5.1~3.4 ㎡/L, 3.1~2.1 ㎡/Kg (based on 100~150μm dry film) - Volume Solids: 51 ±3% - Thinner & Dosage by Construction Temp - Ambient ~60°C: Add 5 ~20% 1564X Low-Temp Thinner (Max service temp 129°C) - 61~150°C: Add 20 ~35% 1564S Medium-Temp Thinner - 151~220°C: Add 35 ~50% 1564S High-Temp Thinner - Mix Ratio: Base : Hardener = 5.5 : 0.04 (by weight) - Storage Stability: Minimum 18 months under normal storage ## Application Methods Brush Coating, Air Spray, Roller Coating ## Construction Precautions ⚠️ 1. Thoroughly remove grease, moisture, dust, old paint film, rust and corrosive contaminants from substrates; blast cleaning to SIS Sa 2 1/2 or hand tool clean to SIS St 3 is recommended. 2. Galvanized & stainless steel substrates must receive surface sweep blasting (SIS Sa 1) or SSPC-SP 16 prior to coating. 3. Surface roughness requirement: 30~60 μm for carbon steel; ≥25 μm for stainless & galvanized steel. 4. When spraying on hot substrates, thinner evaporates quickly which will create rough film surface. 5. Construction temperature classification & matched thinner: - Ambient ~60°C: Low-temperature thinner (1564X) - 61~220°C: High-temperature thinner (1564S) 6. Avoid construction on rainy days or when relative humidity exceeds 85%RH. Fully dry damp surfaces before coating. 7. Recommended spray nozzle size: 0.021” ~0.025”. ## Note All data provided in this product datasheet are derived from internal laboratory tests for construction design reference only.
