Organic silicon non staining anti fouling paint 1200

# ORGANO-SILICONE FOULING RELEASE A/F RAINBOW PAINTS ## Product Code RAINBOSLIP 1200 ## Type Two-component organosilicone resin fouling-release coating. This antifouling paint is tin-biocide free and complies with the requirements of international maritime organization (AFS/CONF/26) for hull antifouling systems. ## Application For new shipbuilding or dry-dock ship repair (vessels over 8 meters in length). Also applicable to marine equipment and seawater intake/outlet structures to prevent marine organism adhesion. ## Properties 1. Helps reduce environmental hazards 2. Organosilicone resin provides self-polishing performance, minimizing fouling damage and enabling easy fouling removal 3. Smooth coating film reduces fluid resistance to save fuel consumption 4. Fast drying speed ## Specification Data - Color: Red, Reddish Brown, Black, Blue - Gloss: High Gloss - Volume Solids: 75±2% - Recommended Film Thickness: Wet film 200 μm, Dry film 150 μm - Theoretical Coverage Rate: 5 ㎡/L (based on 150 μm dry film). Actual coverage varies according to workpiece shape and construction conditions. - Compatible Primer: Rainboslip tiecoat series silicone elastomer tie coat - Specific Gravity: 1.0 Kg/L ## Mixing & Thinning - Thinner: Not recommended; use No.807 Xylene for equipment flushing if necessary - Mix Ratio: Base : Hardener = 9 : 1 (by weight) - Pot Life: 1 hour (25°C) ## Application Methods Airless spray, roller coating (for small-area touch-up only) ### Airless Spray Parameters - Nozzle size: 0.019" ~ 0.021" - Secondary air pressure: ≥ 6 Kg/cm² - Pressure ratio: 45 : 1 or higher ## Drying Time - Tack-free: Approx. 2 hours (25°C) - Full Cure: 1 day (25°C) ## Storage Stability - Shelf Life: Base and hardener can be stored for 1 year under cool, dry conditions - Storage Temperature: Above 26°C (80°F) ## Precautions ⚠️ 1. Take full safety protection measures during spraying; open the lid only right before use. 2. Stir base and hardener separately for 5 minutes thoroughly before mixing. After blending per the specified ratio, continue full stirring for another 5 minutes before application. 3. To avoid cross-contamination, all coating equipment must be thoroughly cleaned before and after using this product. 4. The substrate surface must be clean and dry; apply strictly following Rainbow’s designated coating system procedures. 5. It is recommended to launch the vessel within 1–5 days after coating completion.
